Casa de Paz is an excellent fit for those to move in straight from rehab, and while attending an Intensive Outpatient Program. Housemates start each day with positive, and affirming recovery meditation or a guided meditation. While having coffee or tea they all have the opportunity to share their plans for the day and to give and receive support. Everyone is at a different place in their recovery, some are looking for work or going to school, attending a meeting or a therapy appointment, or simply being sober for the day. At the end of the day everyone is invited to share a hot meal as a community before heading to a meeting, taking time for reflection, or enjoying the company of other like minded people working on their recovery.

Carlsbad Neighborhood

Casa de Paz is in Carlsbad, CA a coastal city the occupies seven miles of coastline along the Pacific Ocean in the northwest region of San Diego County. It is a perfect southern California location just 35 miles north of downtown San Diego, with nearly perfect weather year round.

There are three lagoons located in the city that cover more than 1,000 acres and include nature preserves and water recreation areas. The lagoons provide valuable open space allowing the public to enjoy nature, exercise, relaxing while taking in some of the most famous and beautiful views in the world. In addition to this there are 31 parks with a range of amenities located throughout the city. 
In the city of Carlsbad, public transportation, including bu and train services, is provided by North County Transit and is located on one of the Coaster Commuter Train stops. Casa de Paz is walking distance from public transportation, the grocery store, and restaurants. Beaches are a short bike ride away, and we are minutes from the 5 freeway.
